So far this trip has been great. This is my first year on this trip and I honestly didn’t know what to expect from it. It has been a delight and everyday is exciting for me. I don’t want any negativity going on during the trip, but it is fine if some people joke around. As I come out here to Yosemite I want to experience how fun it is and how beautiful the sights are. I want to get away from the stress of school and just appreciate life as we know it. Our existence is all we know so cherish it; don’t waste, get to know yourself better than you think you do. Everybody needs to treat each other with respect.

The reason why I joined WildLink is because Mr. Hollister persuaded me to, telling me all the great things about the expeditions we might go on. I took interest and ever since I went on the first trip, it was so exciting to just be outside listening to the nature’s sounds. The views out here are just so beautiful to endure and I really like the outdoors. I go camping twice every year with my family up in Pinecrest and out there it is just awesome to spend time with them and have no electronics or have to worry about work. When I go out there it takes away all my stress from school and sports. I just feel so relaxed when I’m with nature. Other people who don’t have the chance to come out and enjoy the view are usually caught up in their everyday life and being stressed over work. It’s a shame how they won’t take the time to just take a step back and see what they’re really missing in this world. There is more to life than just money but you still need money.

10/16/14 I am so happy to be on this trip. It surely is a blessing. The view is magnificent and it sucks for others who can’t enjoy this view like me. This is just beautiful to endure and to imagine that you are over 10,000 ft in elevation. It is a little scary climbing the rocks but it certainly is worth it. The hike to get here from Sunrise Lake actually was a little long and very tiring, especially going uphill for so long. This trip has been so fun but tiring at the same time. It feels great to accomplish this goal/achievement.
