  • Yosemite National Park

WildLink alumni from all over the state of California brought their friends and families to Yosemite National Park for a free weekend of food, fun, and exploring the great outdoors. In contrast to last year's snowfest, this year brought mild weather and the beautiful colors of the fall foliage. For Saturday's day hike, three groups were guided in meadow restoration, exploration of a local cave and the Merced River, and a "challenge hike" to the top of Vernal Falls. Everyone seemed to have a good time - in the words of one participant, "The feelings, experiences, family quality time, is something that is like a treasure in my soul."
